Alex Dombronovitchevskovinsky

True healing begins within the heart of your relationships—with yourself, your partner, your family, and your faith. Life’s challenges, whether they stem from within or between us, can often leave us feeling lost or disconnected. I’m here to walk with you on a journey to rediscover clarity, connection, and peace.

Alex’s Specialties:

  • Faith-Informed Therapy, Tailored to You: For those who seek to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where faith and mental health can come together. Whether you’re grappling with personal struggles, looking to strengthen your relationship with your partner, or navigating family dynamics, we’ll work together to foster growth, healing, and understanding.

  • Families: Build Stronger Bonds: Relationships are the foundation of our lives, and nurturing them is essential for well-being. I specialize in helping couples and families break through communication barriers, resolve conflicts, and deepen their emotional connection. Whether you’re newly engaged, married for decades, or facing the complexities of blended family life, my goal is to help you thrive together.

  • Couples Counseling: With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by couples and families, including pre-marital counseling, blended families, and LGBTQ+ relationships, my work focuses on strengthening the emotional bonds that hold us together. I offer a safe, compassionate space for clients to explore their spirituality and integrate it into their personal growth, regardless of where they are on their journey.

  • Approach + Modalities: My therapeutic orientation is grounded in systems therapy, helping clients identify patterns and interactions that often contribute to relational challenges. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to transform negative emotional patterns and foster deeper emotional connections. Additionally, I incorporate the Gottman Method, using research-based interventions to improve communication and relationship satisfaction.

For those processing trauma or seeking deeper mind-body connection, I integrate somatic techniques and embodiment practices, helping clients become more aware of their bodily sensations and how they relate to emotional experiences. This holistic approach is particularly helpful in promoting emotional and mental regulation.

  • Centering Marginalized Identities: I am passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who identify as witches, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who identify with non-binary pronouns. My practice is inclusive and affirming of all identities, and I am dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment for everyone.

Asking for help is hard, accepting help is even harder, but if you're reading this you're on the right track.

I reside in Atlanta, GA, and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Psychotherapy & Counseling with a focus on Marriage, Family, and Couples Therapy at Regent University. My therapeutic areas of emphasis include pre-marital counseling, blended families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and couples and families. I also work with clients who are interested in integrating spirituality into their healing journey.

My therapeutic orientation is primarily grounded in systems therapy, which helps clients identify patterns and interactions that contribute to relational challenges. I place a strong emphasis on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients recognize and transform negative emotional patterns, strengthen emotional bonds, and improve overall relationship satisfaction. Additionally, I integrate the Gottman Method, using research-based interventions to improve relationship dynamics. I also incorporate somatic techniques and embodiment practices to promote self-awareness of bodily sensations and their connection to emotional experiences—particularly beneficial in processing trauma and developing greater emotional and mental regulation.

I am currently learning American Sign Language and am a certified Level II Reiki practitioner. My therapeutic philosophy is to meet people wherever they are on their personal growth journeys, always with empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I look forward to supporting you on your path toward achieving your individual, couple, and family goals.
